WHO WE ARE
75 State Street is a nonprofit senior community offering a continuum of care that includes Independent Living and Assisted Living. Our mission is to promote the independence, dignity, and individuality of older people of all financial abilities by offering supportive programs and services in an urban, residential setting. We provide a wide variety of amenities and services tailored for residents living independently and residents needing additional assistance.
When the sun is shining, our 73 solar panels on the roof produce electricity that is either used in real time or fed back to the grid, where it benefits our community by reducing pollution (and earns us a credit). The annual generation from the array will equal roughly 39,751 kilowatt-hours (kWhs) of electricity, offsetting the equivalent of over 49,316 miles driven in a gas-powered car, and keeping more than 38,000 lbs. of carbon out of the atmosphere every year.
